Jeffrey Swanhorst
Chief Executive Officer,
AgriBank, Board Chair

Jeffrey Swanhorst became CEO of AgriBank in April 2018. A 35-year veteran of the Farm Credit System, he joined AgriBank in 2011 as chief credit officer with responsibility for all credit functions, including Wholesale Lending, Commercial Lending, Credit Review and Credit Risk Management. In addition, Swanhorst served on various System leadership committees, including the System Disclosure Committee and System Credit Work Group. He is also directly involved in communications, on behalf of the AgriBank District, with rating agencies, investors in Systemwide debt securities and other key stakeholders.
Swanhorst previously was senior vice president of credit at CoBank. While at CoBank, he served in credit and relationship management leadership roles beginning in 1999. Prior to that, Swanhorst’s Farm Credit career was in lending and management with the St. Paul Bank for Cooperatives, and he began his career as a lending officer with the Mitchell-Huron Production Credit Association in South Dakota.
Swanhorst has a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business from South Dakota State University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
Jase Wagner
President & Chief Executive Officer,
Compeer Financial, Board Vice Chair

Jase Wagner is the President and CEO of Compeer Financial. He is responsible for leading the Compeer Financial team in serving member-owners, clients, agriculture and rural America — as outlined by the organization’s strategic priorities. He previously served as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer.
Additionally, Jase serves on the Board of Directors for SunStream Business Services and is the current Chair of the Farm Credit Foundations Trust Committee.
Jase held prior positions as a Vice President with Allied Capital, a middle market junior capital provider in New York, from 2003-2007, and as a Vice President with Deephaven Capital, a multi-billion-dollar multi-strategy hedge fund, from 2007-2009. He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Accounting and Finance.
He and his wife, Sarah, live in Minneapolis, Minn., and have one son and two daughters. Jase’s hobbies include golfing, spending time with family and enjoying good food.
Travis Jones
President & Chief Executive Officer,
GreenStone Farm Credit Services

Travis Jones serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of GreenStone Farm Credit Services. He reports directly to the association’s board of directors and provides executive leadership to GreenStone. He is charged with effectively managing the association to fulfill its vision and mission.
Jones began his career in public accounting in 1989 with Deloitte & Touche and joined Republic Bancorp Inc. in 1993. He served a variety of roles before becoming the vice president and accounting administration manager after Republic’s the merger with Citizens Bank in 2006.
Jones has been with GreenStone since 2007, is a certified public accountant, and a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He is a member of the Michigan Finance Authority board of directors and the Michigan FFA Association board.
Dan Wagner
President & Chief Executive Officer,
Farm Credit Mid-America

Dan Wagner is President and Chief Executive Officer of Farm Credit Mid-America.
Dan began his career in 1998 as a software developer at Farm Credit Services of America in Omaha, Nebraska. He left the Farm Credit System to work for Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young, and IBM Global Services before returning to Farm Credit Services of America in 2004. He held various technology leadership positions before becoming that association’s Chief Technology Officer in 2008.
Dan joined Farm Credit Mid-America in June 2012, where he held various leadership positions, most recently overseeing the Association’s business technology, finance, organizational process excellence and security teams as Chief Operating Officer.
He has served on the board of directors at Farm Credit Foundations since 2018.
Dan graduated from Chadron State College with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and information management systems and he obtained his MBA with an emphasis in finance from the University of Nebraska.
